Thermal energy storage using a durable geopolymer medium.

Nuoli

Why clean energy still falls short

Renewable energy is abundant — but not always when or where it’s needed.

Solar power stops at sunset, leaving long gaps in production.

Wind power can stall for days or even weeks during low-wind periods.

Hydropower depends on large reservoirs, and overflow events can waste valuable generation potential.

The result?
Surplus energy goes unused, while demand peaks still rely on costly, carbon-heavy backup systems. Without effective long-term storage, renewable plants cannot fully replace fossil fuels — and operators miss out on both revenue and efficiency.

The solution

Nuoli

Turning surplus into reliable power

GeoPolyRage® turns surplus renewable energy into reliable, on-demand power.

Our system stores excess energy as heat inside a durable geopolymer medium — a material designed to last for decades without significant degradation. When demand rises, the stored energy can be released as heat, steam, or electricity, giving operators the flexibility to stabilize output and reduce reliance on fossil backups.

Unlike batteries, GeoPolyRage® is built for large-scale, long-duration storage. It’s safe, sustainable, and integrates seamlessly with solar, wind, hydro, and industrial energy systems.

The result:
More control, less waste, and the ability to keep clean energy flowing — anytime.

Built for scale, safety, and savings

Our system is designed to handle the demands of industrial-scale energy storage while keeping safety, sustainability, and efficiency at the forefront.

Operational performance

Store large amounts of energy and discharge when it matters most — from hours to days later.

Smooth out production peaks and troughs to stabilize plant output.

Adapt to multiple discharge modes: heat, steam, or electricity.

Durability & safety

Geopolymer medium is non-flammable, chemically stable, and built to last decades.

Minimal performance degradation over time.

No thermal runaway risk, unlike many battery chemistries.

Sustainability & cost-efficiency

Lower lifecycle cost than lithium-based storage.

Environmentally friendly material footprint.

Reduced need for frequent replacements or recycling.

Financing & Assurance

Eligible for Business Finland new-tech energy support — up to 40% project funding.

Standard 3-year warranty, with extended coverage up to 10 years.

Proven supply chain with industrial-scale engineering and manufacturing capacity.

Use Cases

Renewable plants – store solar or wind surplus to deliver stable, round-the-clock power.

Industrial processes – provide on-demand steam or heat for production lines.

District heating – smooth out seasonal and daily demand fluctuations.

Grid operators – balance frequency and reduce peak-load strain without fossil backups.

Our team

GeoPolyRage® is developed by Lamit Oy, a Finnish engineering and technology company with decades of experience in industrial energy solutions. Our leadership combines renewable integration expertise, large-scale engineering know-how, and proven project delivery.

We are backed by an engineering company with over 1,000 engineers, a fully equipped machine shop in Jyväskylä, and a network of trusted partners in industrial automation, electrification, and CAD system design. With our own offices and access to additional office resources, we have the capacity to move projects from concept to commissioning efficiently and at scale.
